The Mission

FreedSeeds exists to connect beauty in our gardens with freedom for families who have been trapped in generational debt — quietly, transparently, and with deep respect for the lives involved.

Brick kiln workers in Pakistan

Across parts of Pakistan, families are trapped in a system known as bonded labor.

Brick kiln workers often inherit debt from a parent or relative — and spend their lives working to repay it, frequently without ever being able to leave. When a parent is bound, their children often become bound too. Generations pass. Freedom does not.

These are not distant statistics. They are families — parents, children, and grandparents — whose lives are defined by obligations they did not choose.

Why gardens

For us, this work begins close to home.

Gardens teach patience. They remind us that small, consistent care can create real change. A seed planted today doesn’t transform the world overnight — but it does grow.

FreedSeeds was created to connect that same principle across borders: small acts here, meaningful freedom there.

How your purchase helps

  • A portion of each purchase supports efforts to free families from bonded labor through trusted, on-the-ground partners.

  • Funds are used to help repay unjust debts and support safe transitions toward freedom.

  • As FreedSeeds grows, so does the number of families we’re able to help.

This work is ongoing. We’re committed to growing it with care, humility, and accountability.
